প্রাক্তন জাতিসংঘ ভলান্টিয়ার মরহুম আকরাম হোসেনের নেতৃত্বে ও স্থানীয় মুক্তিযোদ্ধা, অবসর প্রাপ্ত সৈনিক, শিক্ষাবিদ এবং মানব শুভাকাংখীদের সক্রিয় উদ্যোগে এই সংস্থাটি 1986 সালের অক্টোবর মাসে জন্ম লাভ করে। প্রাথমিকভাবে এই সংস্থাটি পাটজাত দ্রব্য তৈরীর জন্য দরিদ্র ও বেকার মহিলাদের প্রশিক্ষন শুরু করে, যাতে করে তাদের বেকারত্ব দুর হয় ও নিয়মিত আয়ের পথ সুগম হয়। কঠোর পরিশ্রম, আন্তরিক প্রচেষ্টা, সক্রিয় সহযোগিতা ও দক্ষ ব্যবস্থাপনার ফলে অতীতের সকল সমস্যা ও জটিলতা অতিক্রম করে দাবী সংস্থাটি বর্তমান উন্নয়নশীল অবস্থায় উপনীত হয়েছে।

Under the leadership of former UN Volunteer Late M M Akram Hossain, and this organization was born in October 1986 in an active initiative of local freedom fighters, retired soldiers, academics and human well-wishers. Initially, this organization started training poor and unemployed women for making jute goods, so that their unemployment was delayed and regular income was available. Due to the hard work, sincere efforts, active co-operation and efficient management, all of the problems and complications of the past exceeding the demands of the organization have reached the current development
